أكَّدَ سعادةُ الدكتورِ ديباك ميتال سفير جمهوريَّة الهند لدى الدولة على قوَّة العَلاقاتِ القطرية الهنديَّة ونموّها في كافة مجالات التعاون، لافتًا إلى تحقيقها رقمًا قياسيًا جديدًا في حجم التبادل التجاري بلغ 18 مليار دولار العام الماضي

وقالَ سعادتُه ل الراية بمناسبة اليوم الوطني لبلاده الذي يصادف أيضًا الذكرى ال 75 لاستقلالها: إنَّ عام 2023 عام مميز لعلاقاتنا، حيث يصادف الاحتفال بالذكرى الخمسين لإقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين بلدَينا والبناء على تعاوننا الواسع ومتعدد الأوجه في قطاعات الطاقة والتجارة والاستثمار والثقافة والتعليم والصحة والدفاع والأمن وغيرها، حيث يربطنا تعاونٌ قوي في مختلف القطاعات. وبينما ننظر بكل اعتزاز لما أنجزناه معًا على مدار خمسين عامًا ماضية فإننا نتطلع إلى تحقيق المزيدِ في الخمسين عامًا المقبلة

وأشادَ بالدعم الكبير الذي تقدمه دولة قطر أميرًا وحكومة وشعبًا للجالية الهندية ودورها في تعزيز علاقات البلدَين، وأيضًا دعم قيادتي البلدين لتطوير التعاون في كافة القطاعات، لافتًا إلى زيارات رفيعة المستوى العام الماضي منها زيارة نائب الرئيس الهندي إلى الدوحة مرتين في أقل من ستة أشهر الأولى في يونيو والثانية في افتتاح كأس العالم فيفا قطر 2022 في نوفمبر الماضي، ما يؤكد الروابط الوثيقة بين البلدَين

وكشفَ السفيرُ أنَّه كجزء من الاحتفال بالذكرى الخمسين للعلاقات سوف يشهد هذا العام تنظيم زيارات وتبادلات سياسية رفيعة المستوى والعمل على عقد اجتماع اللجنة الثنائية المشتركة برئاسة وزيرَي الخارجية في البلدَين، إضافة إلى عقد الحوار السياسي بين وزارتَي الخارجية ولقاء مجموعات العمل في قطاعات الصحة والطاقة والدفاع والأمن وإنفاذ القانون والجمارك والقوى العاملة، إضافة إلى الفعاليات الثقافية المتنوعة والاحتفال باليوم العالمي لمحصول الدخن الغني بالبروتين الذي يشكل فرصة لتعزيز سلاسل إمداد الغذاء حول العالم. كما سنشارك في معرض إكسبو الدوحة للبستنة أكتوبر المقبل

وأشارَ إلى تنامي العلاقات الاقتصادية، حيث حقق التبادل التجاري رقمًا قياسيًا جديدًا بلغَ 18 مليار دولار العام الماضي، وأيضًا زيادة الاستثمارات خلال الأعوام الثلاثة الماضية واهتمام جهاز قطر للاستثمار ورجال الأعمال القطريين بفرص الاستثمار في الهند كواحدة من أسرع الاقتصادات الرئيسية نموًا في العالم، ومن المتوقع أن تكون صاحبة ثاني أكبر اقتصاد في العالم في العشر سنوات المقبلة

وأكَّد أن الاستثمارات القطرية في الهند تضاعفت 5 مرات في الأعوام القليلة الماضية في عدة قطاعات منها التجارة الإلكترونية والتعليم الإلكتروني وهناك اهتمام قطري كبير باستكشاف المزيد من الفرص خاصة مع تركيز الهند على قطاع التصنيع مثل المركبات الإلكترونية وأشباه الموصلات والدفاع، بتصنيعنا حاملة طائرات لأول مرة وأيضًا تكنولوجيا المعلومات والذكاء الاصطناعي والصحة، حيث تعرف الهند بأنها صيدلية العالم بتصنيعها أنواعًا متنوعة من الأدوية ومنها علاج لفيروس كوفيد-19 عبر الأنف وليس الحقن

كما أنَّ هناك اهتمامًا مشتركًا بالشركات الناشئة وأسسنا العام الماضي جسرًا للربط بينها في قطر والهند، والبحث عن فرص التعاون التي تحقق المصالح المشتركة

وأشادَ سعادةُ السفير الهندي بدور قطر في دعم أمن الطاقة في الهند، قائلًا: إنه يربطنا تعاون قوي جدًا في قطاع الطاقة بتوقيع واحدة من أطول اتفاقيات إمداد الغاز من دولة قطر إلى الهند لمدة 25 عامًا بأكثر من 7 مليارات طن متري سنويًا وتشكل نحو 45% من واردات الهند من الغاز المسال

وأشار إلى فرص واعدة مع حوار متواصل بين قطاعَي الطاقة في البلدَين لتطوير التعاون من علاقات البيع والشراء إلى شراكة شاملة خاصة مع توجه الهند إلى زيادة الاعتماد على الغاز في خليط الطاقة لديها من 6% إلى 15% بحلول عام 2030، وإطلاق مشروعات للبنية التحتية للغاز وتوصيله للمنازل والعمل على إنشاء محطة جديدة للغاز واستخدامه في وسائل النقل، فيما يتوجه بلدنا بطموح كبير ومبادرات واعدة نحو الطاقة المتجددة

وقال السفير: إن الهند سوف تشارك بوفد رفيع المستوى في المؤتمر الخامس لأقل البلدان نموًا في الدوحة خلال الفترة من 5-9 مارس المقبل، مشيرًا إلى أن رئاسة الهند الحالية لمجموعة العشرين لاقتصادات العالم الرئيسية سوف تعزز من جهودها المتواصلة في دعم تلك الدول التي تواجه تحديات كبيرة. وأكَّدَ سعادة السفير الهندي في سياق آخر، أنَّ قطر أصبحت وجهة سياحية مفضلة للكثير من الهنود، خاصة بعد النجاح الكبير الذي حققته في تنظيم بطولة كأس العالم وإقامة نحو ثلاث حفلات زفاف هندية كبيرة في الدوحة، فيما يستمر التواصل بين البلدَين لتعزيز التعاون في قطاعات التعليم والثقافة والسياحة التي تعمق علاقات الشعبَين الصديقَين

HE Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the country, stressed the strength of the Qatari - Indian relations and their growth in all fields of cooperation, pointing out that they achieved a new record in the volume of trade exchange, amounting to $18 billion last year.

His Excellency told Al-Raya on the occasion of his country's National Day, which also coincides with the 75th anniversary of its independence: The year 2023 is a distinguished year for our relations, as it marks the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries and building on our broad and multifaceted cooperation in the sectors of energy, trade, investment, culture, education, health, defence, security and others. Where we have strong cooperation in various sectors. As we look back with pride at what we have achieved together over the past fifty years, we look forward to achieving more in the next fifty years.

He praised the great support provided by the Emir, government and people of the State of Qatar to the Indian community and its role in strengthening the relations of the two countries, as well as the support of the leaderships of the two countries to develop cooperation in all sectors, pointing to high-level visits last year, including the visit of the Indian Vice President to Doha twice in less than six months, the first in June and the second at the opening of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar last November, confirming the close ties between the two countries.

The ambassador revealed that as part of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of relations, this year will witness the organization of high-level political visits and exchanges, and work to hold a meeting of the joint bilateral committee chaired by the foreign ministers of the two countries, in addition to holding a political dialogue between the two ministries of foreign affairs and a meeting of working groups in the health, energy, defence, security and enforcement sectors. Law, customs and manpower, in addition to various cultural events and the celebration of the International Day of the protein-rich millet crop, which constitutes an opportunity to strengthen food supply chains around the world. We will also participate in the Doha Horticultural Expo next October.

He pointed to the growth of economic relations, as trade exchange achieved a new record of $18 billion last year, as well as the increase in investments during the past three years and the interest of the Qatar Investment Authority and Qatari businessmen in investment opportunities in India as one of the fastest growing major economies in the world. It will be the second largest economy in the world in the next ten years.

He stressed that Qatari investments in India have multiplied 5 times in the past few years in several sectors, including e-commerce and e-education. Information, artificial intelligence, and health, as India is known as the world’s pharmacy by manufacturing various types of medicines, including a treatment for the Covid-19 virus through the nose, not injections.

There is also a common interest in emerging companies, and last year we established a bridge to connect them in Qatar and India, and to look for opportunities for cooperation that achieve common interests.

HE the Indian Ambassador praised Qatar's role in supporting energy security in India, saying: We have very strong cooperation in the energy sector with the signing of one of the longest agreements to supply gas from the State of Qatar to India for a period of 25 years, with more than 7 billion metric tons annually, which constitute about 45% of the gas supply. India's imports of liquefied natural gas.

He pointed to promising opportunities with continuous dialogue between the energy sectors of the two countries to develop cooperation from buying and selling relations into a comprehensive partnership, especially with India's intention to increase dependence on gas in its energy mix from 6% to 15% by 2030, and to launch gas infrastructure and delivery projects. For homes and work to establish a new gas station and use it in transportation, while our country is heading towards renewable energy with great ambition and promising initiatives.

The ambassador said: India will participate with a high-level delegation in the Fifth Conference of the Least Developed Countries in Doha during the period from 5 to 9 March, indicating that India's current presidency of the Group of Twenty of the world's major economies will enhance its continuous efforts in supporting those countries that face big challenges. In another context, HE the Indian Ambassador stressed that Qatar has become a favourite tourist destination for many Indians, especially after the great success it achieved in organizing the World Cup and holding about three large Indian weddings in Doha, while communication continues between the two countries to enhance cooperation in the education, culture and tourism sectors which deepens the relations of the two friendly people.
