Passport & Miscellaneous Services Charges

Attestation: As per the advisory issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the State of Qatar, the Embassy of India will not be able to ratify any type of papers or official documents unless they are attested by the concerned authorities and the Ministry of External Affairs in India.

A fee of QR 8/- is to be paid as labor welfare fund charges per Consular / Passport service per person w.e.f 01 September, 2017.

4.	Fresh/Re-issue of Passports Jumbo – 64 pages under Tatkal Scheme	Go to URL http://passport.gov.in/nri/Online.do and fill up the application online. Take printout. 6. Note: For children having crossed 15 years of age, a 10 year validity passport may also be applied for. The validity of the passports of the children more than 13 years of age will be restricted till the date they attain 18 years of age in case a 5 year validity passport is asked for.
7.	Birth Registration, Birth Certificate & New Passport for Children Birth has to be registered at least within one year of its occurrence. After expiry of one year, birth registration may be granted subject to HOM approval (Refer: Office Order No. 26030/129/2015-IC-II/MHA/Foreigners Division), Dt:17/06/15	Go to URL http://passport.gov.in/nri/Online.do and fill up the application online. 8.	Affidavit (Single)	Appropriate format in duplicate Submit with passport copy, Consular services form, Copy of Qatar ID, Original passport - to be signed in presence of consular officer.	QR 38
9.	Conversion of ECR to ECNR	Printing/ Stamping of non-ECR (previously ECNR) in the passport has been dispensed with. In case of change of status from ECR to ECNR, a fresh passport shall be re-issued. Deletion of ECR service will be rendered, subject to eligibility, and usual checks and procedures. Fill Up the application form for re-issue of fresh ECNR passport using the following URL:https://passport.gov. in/nri/Online.do and submit in the Embassy. Requirements (a) Copy of Qatar ID (b) 02 photographs with white background (c) Prescribed Fees. Note:- If the applicant (ECR Passport holder) enters Qatar for employment after getting Emigration Clearance from the Protector of Emigrants and resides in Qatar continuously for a period of 3 years, then only he/she is eligible for the service. Persons arriving on Visit Visa are not eligible for this service.	QR 274
